We are brewers of Houmei-shu and mirin founded in 1855. This main store is designated as an important cultural property of the city, Fukuyama Castle Nagayamon, the remains of the Fukuyama castle built in the early Edo period and relocated in the Meiji period. The store contains the large traditional billboards and old Bizen pots inherited from the originator of Houmei-shu, the Nakamura family, which closed its shop in the late Meiji period (around 1910).
