COMMENT
Narutodo is a Japanese confectionery shop located along the approach to Nunakuma shrine. Among the classic sweets such as Tsuyabukusa and Joyo-Manju, Ogion-san, a monaka (sweet paste inside a wafer) with a slightly sweet black sesame paste is popular. We also recommend the "An" (sweet bean paste) doughnut, made from a pureed bean paste fragrantly fried within a wrapping of dough made from flour, sugar, eggs, and milk. Japanese confections from every season such as Sakura-mochi and Kashiwa-mochi are available as well.
